ReplyDeleteAmara

DeleteSorry to bother you, but who is this from?
DeleteVanessa
Wasn't he assassinated?
Delete-Gabby Thompson

Delete-Mary Elizabeth
Ok. Thanks.

Ok........My favorite president is Abraham Lincoln. He truely lit a spark in my head of how to treat people of other races. To always treat them exactly the same because we all were created equal and were meant to be the same, no matter if our skin is light or dark. Lincoln helped to set free all the slaves, and with a little help from the later Martin Luther King Jr, acomplished his dreams. Even if he wasn't alive to see it.

Beautifully stated, Mary Elizabeth. From, Mrs. B

I looked it up and William Taft weighs 335 pounds, or 151.953 kilograms.

George Washington because he helped us win the war. form Victoria
ReplyDeleteVery true!

My favorite president would have to be Thomas Jefferson. He wrote most of the Declaration of Independence, fought in the Revolutionary war on the patriots side, and adopted 2 grizzly bear cubs.
ReplyDelete- Gabby Thompson :-)
My favorite president was Abraham Lincoln because of all of his accomplishments like he made the decision to fight to prevent the nation from splitting apart.
ReplyDeleteBen Howes
Where was he when he did the Gettiesburg address?
Delete-Gabby Thompson
I don't mean to sound unorginal but my my favorite president is Abraham Lincoln because he helped free the slaves. He was the man who gave african americans somewhat equal rights to the whites. But he (and with the help of Martin Luther King Jr, later on in history) gave me the opportunity to have great friends such as Micheal, Amara, Gabby, Tirque, and Lorranger.
ReplyDeleteFrom Liz : )
That is really sweet, ELizabeth!
DeleteMy favorite president is Abraham Lincoln because,Lincoln disapproved slavery, and the spread of slavery to new U.S territory in the west.
ReplyDeleteThe one that says Lincoln dissaproved..... It's Dana

ReplyDeleteI would have to say Barack Obama. He is the first African American president and might be the only one for a long time. He "got rid of" Osama Bin Laden. He also believes in everyone being equal no matter their skin color, gender, or marriage. To me, he still currently doing the job right.
ReplyDelete(nobody said Herbert Hoover, right?)
