Homework for 5/7

1. Math page we made in class (use "cross-reducing"!)
2. Preamble memorized by Friday
3. Rough draft due Thursday (SKIP lines and use notebook paper/pencil). Remember your goal is about 300 words (at least).
4. Read! I finished "The Great Gatsby" last night and now I get to start "People of Sparks"-so excited! :o)

**Discussion: We are working on memorizing the Preamble. How do you memorize??**

  1. I listen to whatever I'm trying memorizing over and over again, and then I start reciting it in the way works best for the thing I have to memorized. I can sing or say it! I can do whatever I feel like is right.

  2. Whenever I have to memorize something I use my talents to help me. I'll act it out, make up little motions to the words i'm trying to memorize, i'll write them down or turn them into a song. So I guess I have a lot of ways that will help me memorize something.
