Alien Take Over!

We did it! We made our year AR goal! Gilchrist read almost 40,000 books and nearly 400 MILLION words!! That's close to 90,000 AR points, wow! Here we are with our GREEN Principal and Vice-Principal :o)

What Shape Is A Bubble?

We had such a blast today investigating bubbles! Who knew they could be so interesting and entertaining? We all agreed a bubble is a sphere. But we discovered a bubble is MUCH more than a sphere! We saw triangles, pentagons, squares, hexagons, heptagons, nonagons, decagons, and octagons! We saw ovals and "tubes" and we discovered the bubbles could BOUNCE and ROLL!! Where two bubbles touch they make a straight edge. And the colors! Wow. Just ask your child about it, we loved it. It was so fascinating! Check out some shots below :o)
